About the position

The On-Demand Planner Scheduler position at PMOLink is a pivotal role that focuses on the development, updating, and reporting of project schedules to enhance the efficiency of the On-Demand Scheduling™ (ODS) service. This service is designed to assist organizations in standardizing their project scheduling processes, ultimately leading to a significant reduction in scheduling costs—by at least 50%. The successful candidate will collaborate with innovative teams and profit-oriented organizations, aiming to improve the quality of project scheduling solutions while alleviating the burdens associated with maintaining project schedules. This allows client managers to focus on managing their projects rather than getting bogged down in scheduling tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing various scheduling and reporting software tools to ensure that project schedules are developed and maintained effectively. You will provide both on-site and remote support to ODS clients, leveraging web conferencing software to facilitate communication and collaboration. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of clients, ensuring that the ODS service delivery is seamless and efficient. Additionally, you will be expected to perform other tasks as necessary to support the overall objectives of the ODS service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules using scheduling software.
  • Update and report on project tasks as necessary.
  • Provide on-site support to ODS clients.
  • Deliver remote support to ODS clients using web conferencing software.
  • Assist in the standardization of project schedule development and reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients to improve project scheduling solutions.

Requirements

  • College degree or relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in scheduling and ability to work in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Experience in training with scheduling software is a plus.
  • Valuable experience with Turnarounds and Shutdowns.
  • Critical Path optimization experience is valuable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with web conferencing software.
