About the position

The On-Demand Planner Scheduler position at PMOLink is a pivotal role that focuses on the development, updating, and reporting of project schedules to enhance the efficiency of the On-Demand Scheduling™ (ODS) service. This service is designed to assist organizations in standardizing their project scheduling processes, ultimately leading to a significant reduction in scheduling costs—by at least 50%. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative teams and profit-oriented organizations, contributing to the improvement of project scheduling solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are updated and reported accurately to support the delivery of the ODS service. The ODS service aims to alleviate the burden of schedule maintenance from client managers, allowing them to focus on managing their projects effectively rather than getting bogged down by scheduling tools. This position will require a blend of technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including customers, owners, and subcontractors. Additionally, the role may involve providing on-site support to ODS clients, as well as remote assistance through web conferencing software. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and addressing scheduling challenges, utilizing their expertise in scheduling software to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules using scheduling and reporting software.
  • Update and report tasks as necessary to support the ODS service delivery.
  • Provide on-site support to ODS clients as needed.
  • Leverage web conferencing software for remote support of ODS clients.
  • Assist in standardizing project schedule development and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with clients to improve their project scheduling solutions.

Requirements

  • College degree or relevant experience in project scheduling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, owners, and subcontractors.
  • Experience in training others on scheduling software is a plus.
  • Valuable experience with Turnarounds and Shutdowns in project scheduling.
  • Critical Path optimization experience is beneficial.
