About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, primarily responsible for managing the end-to-end recruiting process for various engineering disciplines, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, and Aerospace fields. This position requires a hands-on approach to recruiting, where the Specialist will engage in daily activities that include screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and coordinating further interviews with qualified candidates. The Specialist will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records and documentation of all candidate interactions and recruitment activities within the applicant tracking system (ATS). This role is essential in ensuring that we attract and retain top talent that aligns with our organizational goals and values. In addition to the core recruiting responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. This involves understanding the specific needs of each position and effectively communicating those needs to potential candidates. The Specialist will also be responsible for collecting references and managing data within the ATS, ensuring that all candidate information is up-to-date and accurately reflects the recruitment process. The role demands a high level of organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising the quality of work. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional telephone skills, including a clear and distinct voice, and will be comfortable conducting interviews in a professional manner. A background in recruiting for technical positions is highly preferred, as is experience with various recruiting tools and platforms. The Specialist will need to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day recruiting processes for engineering positions.
  • Screen and pre-qualify applicant resumes for specific positions.
  • Conduct phone screens with qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate additional interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and recruitment activities in the ATS.
  • Build and maintain relationships with recruiters and candidates.

Requirements

  • Two or more years of recruiting work experience, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, and Aerospace engineering disciplines.
  • Exceptional telephone skills with appropriate business etiquette and a clear voice.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with ATS software and job listing sites.
