About the position

The Assistant Community Association Manager at CAMS is responsible for supporting the Community Manager in managing an on-site community in Durham, NC. This full-time position involves a variety of administrative and customer service tasks, including communication with homeowners and the community board, scheduling meetings, and assisting with financial reports. The role requires proficiency in technology and software, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Community Manager in all aspects of the job
  • Greet, welcome and direct homeowners that come into the office/clubhouse
  • Provide administrative support
  • Assist with communication to community board of directors
  • Schedule, prepare, and attend regular board meetings
  • Take meeting minutes at the board meetings
  • Maintain communication with homeowners
  • Prepare homeowner packets
  • Sell real estate signs and monitor inventory
  • Maintain the community owner website
  • Respond to homeowner needs
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly financial reports
  • Learn to create variance reports for the boards of directors
  • Contribute to monthly management reports
  • Contact vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Other items as needed and assigned
