About the position

We are seeking dedicated on-site property managers to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to find and attract reliable tenants who meet our rental criteria. This role requires excellent closing skills to efficiently finalize rental agreements and a tech-savvy individual who is proficient in property management software, with knowledge of Yardi being a significant advantage. The on-site property manager will be responsible for showing and renting apartment units, which includes availability on weekends. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is a detail-oriented and highly organized approach to managing property operations. The on-site property manager will be tasked with timely rent collection, ensuring that rents are collected promptly and serving 3-day notices as necessary. Conducting detailed inspections of vacant units and documenting turnover repairs will be a critical part of the role. The manager will oversee multiple apartment buildings, ensuring smooth operations and resident satisfaction. This includes coordinating maintenance requests, conducting monthly property inspections, and following up on necessary repairs or improvements. The ability to multitask and respond effectively to maintenance emergencies is crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect rents promptly and serve 3-day notices as needed.
• Conduct detailed inspections of vacant units and document turnover repairs.
• Manage multiple apartment buildings, ensuring smooth operations and resident satisfaction.
• Receive and assign daily maintenance requests, ensuring prompt completion of repairs.
• Conduct monthly property inspections and follow up on necessary repairs or improvements.
• Handle multiple tasks and respond effectively to maintenance emergencies.

Requirements

• Live on-site and be present during the day.
• Excellent interpersonal, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Self-starter, energetic, and flexible.
• Strong communication and sales abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Minimum 5 years of property management experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Yardi property management software.
