About the position

The On-site Recruiter is primarily responsible for managing the hourly recruiting process at Wayne-Sanderson Farms, from sourcing qualified candidates to the job offer stage. This role involves developing and implementing staffing strategies to attract talent and establish the company as an employer of choice in the poultry industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting process including sourcing and screening qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and participate in interviews with appropriate leadership and recommend best candidates.
  • Manage Job Preview process for all hourly candidates to ensure understanding of job duties.
  • Initiate job offers for successful candidates and ensure proper documentation in Workday.
  • Initiate post-offer background screening and coordinate start dates with HR.
  • Manage applicant tracking within Workday ATS system and ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Manage job postings through Workday to ensure accurate content and formatting.
  • Compile data for recruiting metrics and distribute reports to personnel.
  • Represent and participate in recruiting events to build community relationships.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates.
  • Support recruiting duties for salaried openings as requested.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
  • Promote safety initiatives and maintain a zero accident culture.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Staffing and Recruiting, specifically in high volume, hourly recruiting.
  • Strong computer skills with Applicant Tracking experience; knowledge of Workday preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong technical skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in staffing agency high volume recruiting.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
