About the position

The On-Site Services Specialist is responsible for providing operational support in various areas including duplicating, scanning, mail processing, and customer service. This role involves maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring the efficient operation of office services. The specialist will also handle shipping and receiving tasks, as well as perform basic administrative duties to support the site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate duplicating and scanning equipment.
  • Perform basic scanning responsibilities.
  • Ensure convenience copiers are functioning properly and conduct daily inspections.
  • Clear paper jams and report specific issues to technicians.
  • Maintain records for management reports and inventory of supplies.
  • Distribute office supplies, faxes, and mail to personnel or designated drop-off points.
  • Set up furniture and conference rooms as needed.
  • Perform fulfillment functions and calculate job charges.
  • Respond to and coordinate service calls from customers.
  • Deliver completed jobs to designated locations.
  • Maintain daily meter and service logs.
  • Travel between customer buildings as required.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding job requests.
  • Keep convenience copier areas neat and well-stocked.
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks in a mailroom environment.
  • Use various office equipment including shrink-wrap machines and bindery equipment.
  • Perform filing duties including purging and archiving documents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Some related copy job experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage may be required.
  • Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Technical aptitude with printers, copy, and postage machines.
