About the position
uTest, by Applause, is seeking individuals to participate in on-site testing of new digital wearable technology in New York City. Participants will wear and use the technology, providing feedback on their experience through a survey. The testing will last approximately 3 hours, and participants will receive a payout of $150 for their involvement.
Responsibilities
- Wear and use digital wearable technology during testing.
- Provide feedback on the experience through a survey.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Willingness to travel to the designated data collection facility in New York, NY during normal business hours.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Normal or close-to-normal hearing.
- Normal vision or able to wear vision-correcting glasses/contacts on testing days.
- No history of epilepsy, seizures, or severe traumatic brain injury.
- No condition that impairs ability to grip or touch objects with hands.
- No pre-existing conditions in the arms (shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, fingers) such as tendinitis or recurring pain.
- Not pregnant.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to refer other testers for a bonus payout.
