About the position

The Onboard Technology Specialist is responsible for training and supporting users of various technology systems, including SMARTruck, SMARTLynx, and Samsara. This role involves auditing software and hardware systems, maintaining and repairing hardware, and ensuring the proper operation of technology used in fuel delivery operations. The position requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to effectively assist users and manage technology-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Train and support technology users in SMARTruck, SMARTLynx, and Samsara.
• Audit software and hardware systems to ensure proper operation.
• Update and install software applications.
• Maintain and repair hardware systems when necessary.
• Install and uninstall truck hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Other related tasks assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Must be local.
• Valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
• Stable employment history.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of fuel delivery equipment (trucks, pumps, etc.).
• Technical and problem-solving experience.
• Experience using transportation software applications (dispatch, electronic logs, etc.).
