About the position

Oakmonte Insurance in Henderson, Kentucky, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Onboarding Account Executive - Insurance Agency Specialist to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00, along with opportunities for bonuses and career advancement. The ideal candidate will possess a Property & Casualty License and will be responsible for selling our comprehensive range of insurance products and services. We are looking for someone who is goal-oriented, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry. In this role, you will be tasked with meeting new business production goals and objectives as established by the agency. You will develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales effectively. A key part of your responsibilities will be to greet all customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. You will also be expected to ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program, which is crucial for expanding our client base. Additionally, you will verify customer information, including phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses, to maintain accurate records. Answering incoming phone calls promptly and thoroughly understanding all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements will be essential to your success. You will need to stay updated on new products and services to provide the best possible service to our clients. This position requires a proactive approach to generating insurance quotes and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Immediately greet all customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Generate insurance quotes.
