This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00, along with bonus opportunities. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and possess a positive attitude, ready to assist in selling our exceptional insurance products and services. The role involves meeting new business production goals and objectives, developing insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales. You will be the first point of contact for customers entering the office, ensuring they are greeted in a friendly and helpful manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for asking customers for referrals and explaining our referral program, verifying customer contact information, and answering incoming phone calls promptly. It is essential to maintain a thorough understanding of underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements while keeping up-to-date with new products and services. This position offers opportunities for career growth and a flexible schedule, with evenings off from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Immediately greet all customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
• Generate insurance quotes.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Property & Casualty License.
• Genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable.
• Upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to create relationships from a cold start.
• Excellent presentation skills.
