About the position

The Onboarding & Maintenance Specialist at Expedia Group plays a crucial role in enabling properties on the Expedia platform by working with API-connected strategic partners and vacation rental property managers. This position involves onboarding new partners, configuring properties, enabling products, and providing training to partners. The specialist will also track performance metrics and collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal account performance and address any issues that arise during the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new connected partners and manage partner conversions.
  • Complete partner information collection and property configuration.
  • Enable products for existing partners, including creating and modifying room types and rate plans.
  • Load new merchandising campaigns in collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Track and provide data on key performance indicators, including timelines and handle times.
  • Communicate updates with partners and internal stakeholders across various teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot problems affecting partners.
  • Develop process improvements for efficient responses to partners and maintain feedback loops.
  • Participate in critical initiatives related to Expedia Group goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in implementation management, client services project management, or a similar partner-facing role.
  • Strong experience with Excel and working with large data sets; SQL query experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outlook, Slack, and issue-tracking software (JIRA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with XML and JSON preferred but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; experience with diverse and international teams.
  • Solid problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making abilities.
  • Good organizational, process, and project management skills.
  • Ability to learn new software and technical processes quickly.
  • Experience reporting on results and adjusting procedures to improve outcomes.
