About the position

The Onboarding Project Specialist at MarketSource is responsible for creating a specialized onboarding experience for new hires in the Target Tech Program. This role aims to enhance the new hire experience, improve retention metrics, and ensure a seamless transition into the store location. The specialist will engage with new employees, maintain positive relationships with various teams, and provide technical support throughout the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized welcome letters for all new hires
• Conduct follow-up phone calls to new hires the day after onboarding
• Set up email accounts and OneSource logins for new hires
• Distribute Target Tech shirts to new hires
• Provide technical support for email and system logins
• Coordinate with support teams and recruiting for employee information
• Facilitate communication updates to District Managers (DMs)
• Conduct bi-weekly new hire calls to introduce company values and programs
• Lead weekly classroom training sessions for new hires
• Manage multiple onboarding tasks and maintain organization throughout the process

Requirements

• BA/BS College Degree preferred or equivalent business experience
• 1-5 years of experience in a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to conduct professional conversations via telephone
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Training and classroom facilitation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple tasks
