About the position

Metronome is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Onboarding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on the DoD Platform One contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of onboarding processes, experience with DoD contracts, and a passion for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new users. This role will involve guiding new users through the onboarding process, providing support and training, and continuously improving onboarding procedures. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive onboarding processes for new Platform One users. You will ensure that all onboarding activities are completed efficiently and effectively, creating and maintaining onboarding documentation, guides, and resources. You will provide hands-on support and guidance to new users during the onboarding process, conducting training sessions and workshops to educate users on Platform One tools and procedures. Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges faced by new users will also be a key part of your role. Collaboration and coordination with cross-functional teams, including technical support, product management, and customer success, will be essential to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align onboarding activities with business goals and user needs, communicating effectively with users and stakeholders to keep them informed of onboarding progress and updates. Continuous improvement will be a focus, as you gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for enhancement in the onboarding process. You will implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the onboarding experience while staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to onboarding and user support. Compliance with DoD standards and security requirements will be critical, ensuring the confidentiality and security of user information throughout the onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the onboarding experience.
• Ensure onboarding processes comply with DoD standards and security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in onboarding, user support, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of DoD contracts and the unique requirements of working with the Department of Defense.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Platform One or similar DevSecOps environments is highly desirable.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing training materials and user guides.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards in the DoD environment.
