About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the onboarding process for new hires. This role involves working closely with Field Recruiters to ensure a smooth transition for candidates, enhancing engagement and retention throughout the recruitment cycle. The Onboarding Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and that candidates receive the support they need during their onboarding journey.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Recruiters to lead candidates through the onboarding process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all candidates undergoing onboarding.
  • Set appointments for onboarding with employees and verify that New Hire documents are complete.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training with other HR team members to meet success goals.
  • Respond to questions from hiring managers, applicants, and candidates regarding talent acquisition processes.
  • Initiate and facilitate processes related to hiring and onboarding to promote timely filling of positions.
  • Prepare and collect required supporting documentation and approvals to ensure adherence to internal controls and external requirements.
  • Engage candidates through multiple channels to enhance their experience during onboarding.
  • Maintain timely tracking of candidates as they progress through interview stages within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support other recruiting-related administrative tasks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience in recruitment or onboarding processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
