About the position

The Onboarding Specialist - Bilingual (Spanish) plays a crucial role in the onboarding process for new hires, rehires, and transfers within Apache Industrial Services. This position collaborates closely with recruiters and field management to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience, providing support in both English and Spanish. The specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process, maintaining communication with management, and ensuring compliance with training and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supports new hires in completing employment applications via phone or internet.
• Assists Craft Professionals with translation during ATS onboarding in both English and Spanish.
• Supervises onboarding of Craft Professionals through various clinics and training processes.
• Manages the onboarding process, handling sensitive employee information and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoots and escalates onboarding issues as necessary.
• Collaborates with HR Business Partners to review and improve onboarding experiences.
• Completes I-9 forms via HRIS system.
• Follows up with Craft Professionals to ensure completion of clinic requirements and safety courses.
• Provides updates to hiring managers regarding Craft Professional compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience onboarding candidates in the industrial and/or facilities maintenance sector.
• Experience working within ATS or HRIS systems.
• Experience with completing background checks via web-based systems.
• Fluent or conversational in Spanish and English.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with qualifications for job sites such as HASC and ISTC.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with management and field leaders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
