About the position

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for leading and facilitating the onboarding process for new Talent members at Everstand. This role involves managing pre-employment tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining HR systems. The specialist will work closely with various departments to enhance the onboarding experience and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate the onboarding experience for new team members.
  • Manage new hire pre-employment tasks including background checks and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with HRIS Specialist for automated onboarding processes.
  • Work with Employee Relations Specialists on sensitive onboarding matters.
  • Implement and maintain online documentation and processes for onboarding.
  • Schedule and conduct pre-employment meetings.
  • Onboard new staff in ADP payroll system.
  • Run monthly OIG fraud verification reports for new hires.
  • Maintain HR forms and materials for orientation and events.
  • Submit and track CPS requests for new hires.
  • Process new hire driving records and employment verifications.
  • Assist in gathering information for internal and external reports.
  • Update employee demographic information in the payroll system.
  • Address payroll system concerns with the payroll vendor.
  • Recommend improvements to onboarding processes and policies.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of human resources experience.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (preferred).
  • Master's degree (preferred).
