About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Riverside Community Care plays a crucial role in the HR team by managing the comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees, interns, and volunteers. This position involves communication with new hires, processing necessary paperwork, and ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems. The Onboarding Specialist collaborates closely with the Talent Acquisition team and division leadership to maintain consistent onboarding practices and is responsible for initial I-9 employment verifications and managing the Employee Referral Bonus program.

Responsibilities

• Manage the comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees, interns, and volunteers.
• Communicate effectively with all new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Process new hire, intern, and volunteer paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Enter hire data into HR systems for tracking purposes.
• Complete initial I-9 employment verifications and enter data into E-Verify.
• Coordinate and manage the Employee Referral Bonus program.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and division leadership to ensure timely onboarding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three to five years of administrative experience required.
• Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete complex projects efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs required; experience with HR systems strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in non-profit organizations and mid to large-sized organizations preferred.
