About the position

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in the HR team at Riverside Community Care, focusing on the comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees, interns, and volunteers. This position involves effective communication with new hires, processing necessary paperwork, and ensuring accurate data entry into HR systems. The Onboarding Specialist collaborates closely with the Talent Acquisition team and division leadership to maintain consistent onboarding practices, while also managing the Employee Referral Bonus program and conducting initial I-9 employment verifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the comprehensive onboarding process for new employees, interns, and volunteers.
• Communicate effectively with all new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Process new hire paperwork and enter hire data into HR systems.
• Conduct initial I-9 employment verifications and enter data into E-Verify.
• Coordinate and manage the Employee Referral Bonus program.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and division leadership to ensure timely onboarding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Three to five years of administrative experience required.
• Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete complex projects efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs; experience with HR systems preferred.
• Ability to present to large groups.
