About the position

The HR Onboarding Specialist position is a temporary contract role focused on managing the onboarding process for new hires at a leading Pharma & Biotech corporation. The specialist will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding experience from start to finish, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and background checks are completed efficiently. This role requires a local candidate who can work in a hybrid environment in Clayton, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the new hire onboarding process from start to finish.
  • Run background checks and process new hire paperwork.
  • Prepare and send out offer letters and confirm accuracy of offer details.
  • Update candidate status after offer delivery.
  • Initiate onboarding paperwork and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in New Hire Onboarding.
  • 3 years of experience in New Hire Paperwork Processing.
  • 3 years of experience in Background Check Processing.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Must reside local to Clayton, NC and be able to work hybrid.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous work experience with a well-established Pharma or Biotech corporation.
