About the position

The Onboarding Specialist/Office Manager at Sage Specialty Hospital is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a dynamic healthcare office. This role involves overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, managing payroll processes, and facilitating training and communication within the facility. The position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and make informed decisions to positively impact the organization and the people it serves.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff for open positions, including resume and application review and contact with job applicants.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding, including completion of all new hire paperwork, employee health requirements, and training needs.
  • Oversee payroll by gathering and processing payroll data, communicating with employees, and resolving payroll issues.
  • Coordinate and document annual in-service training and other requirements.
  • Communicate all facility events, education, and opportunities to staff to encourage participation.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year coordinating human resource paperwork.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage time, tasks, and files effectively.
  • Strong human relations skills to use tact and diplomacy in contacts with individuals served.
  • Knowledge of employment laws.

  • Self-directed with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
