About the position

The Onboarding Specialist Team Lead WFH at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is responsible for overseeing a team of Onboarding Specialists who assist Supplier Partners and Program Team members with the onboarding process. This role involves ensuring compliance with credentialing requirements, serving as a liaison between Supplier Partners and Credentialing Departments, and implementing process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of Onboarding Specialists to ensure Supplier Partner Candidates meet pre-placement requirements.
  • Obtain credentialing requirements for new contractor candidates.
  • Serve as a resource to Credentialing Specialists and Supplier Partners to ensure timely document submission.
  • Review reports and monitor weekly starts.
  • Respond to daily questions, concerns, and issues from Supplier Partners, credentialing, and Program Team.
  • Enforce standardized processes and procedures.
  • Handle escalated Candidate issues.
  • Hold regular meetings with team members to ensure effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with new or updated credentialing/HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide coverage for Onboarding Specialists as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience required.
  • 1-3 years of onboarding credentialing experience preferred, with related healthcare or staffing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
