About the position

The Onboarding Specialist / Trainer at Open Arms Health Care, LLC is responsible for training and developing new and existing employees, ensuring they are well-oriented to their job responsibilities. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. The position involves understanding regulatory requirements, conducting training sessions, and assisting with recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of 2380 / 6100 / 6400 regulatory requirements.
• Develop expertise in OAHC's onboarding training requirements.
• Complete initial acclimation meetings with new provider staff members to ensure proper orientation.
• Train and develop all incoming employees from direct care staff to administrators.
• Assist with sourcing and recruiting prospective employees from online job platforms.
• Ensure job ads are current and up to date, collaborating with senior team members for any changes.
• Obtain initial and annual documentation for all employees, including TB tests, physicals, and background checks.
• Become a certified Medication Administration trainer and CPR / First Aid trainer when eligible.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Mid-level Driver's License
• First Aid Certification
• Associate's degree
• 1 year of experience in learning and development (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in recruiting (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with 2380 / 6100 / 6400 regulations (Preferred)
