About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Mark Anthony Brewing Inc. plays a crucial role in the People Operations team, responsible for managing the new hire onboarding process. This position involves establishing strong relationships with leadership and ensuring that new employees have a smooth transition into the company. The Onboarding Specialist will oversee all aspects of New Hire Orientation, from pre-hire activities to the first week of employment, while also evaluating and enhancing the onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process for New Hire Orientation including all pre-hire activities through to week 1 of New Hire Orientation.
  • Proactively manage incoming new employee lists to meet target dates and ensure deliverables are met by maintaining various trackers and spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with all departments and levels of management to ensure new employees have necessary resources for day 1.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with regulations, overseeing I9 and E-Verify processes.
  • Follow up with new employees to evaluate their onboarding experience and recommend enhancements to the onboarding programs.
  • Regularly assess and recommend program changes to improve retention and engagement of new hires.
  • Work on new and existing People Operations projects related to employee engagement, retention, and recognition.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR experience (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Generalist, etc.) with a desire to grow within People Operations.
  • Basic competence and knowledge of HR processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professional integrity and accountability.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Proven project and time management capabilities, including prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all employee levels.
