About the position

The Onboarding Specialist role at Grubhub is an entry-level position focused on managing the post-sale workflow for new restaurant accounts. This position is integral to ensuring that restaurant owners are successfully onboarded onto the Grubhub platform, facilitating their transition to becoming active partners. The role emphasizes customer relationship management, collaboration with various teams, and providing insights to restaurant owners to maximize their success on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the post-sale workflow once the contract is signed.
• Call restaurant owners daily to facilitate the onboarding of new accounts with the goal of getting them live on the platform as quickly as possible.
• Manage client relationships during the onboarding experience to exemplify the company's Customer Obsessed value.
• Collaborate with other teams and restaurant owners to set up accounts for long-term success, including scheduling photoshoots, confirming operating hours, and collecting additional information required.
• Provide restaurant owners with insights into the value of getting onto the platform quickly to increase orders and train them on platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalency required.
• Ability to manage time well in an organized fashion.
• Experience with prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused mindset.
