As a Mortgage Bank New Employee Onboarding Specialist, you will play a vital role in welcoming and integrating new employees into our company. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive onboarding plans for new employees in collaboration with HR team members and department managers.
  • Coordinate the pre-employment process.
  • Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires, providing an overview of our company culture, values, and policies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for new employees throughout the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns and providing necessary support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create and deliver role-specific training programs for new hires, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their positions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with new employees to assess their progress and satisfaction with the onboarding process, making adjustments as needed to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and employee information.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in employee onboarding, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in HR, talent acquisition, or employee onboarding, preferably in the mortgage banking industry.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs of new hires and evolving business priorities.
