About the position

The Talent Specialist at Elara Caring plays a crucial role in the onboarding and education of healthcare professionals, ensuring that new staff are effectively integrated into the organization. This position focuses on developing educational materials, managing the orientation process, and contributing to the overall growth of the home care industry by fostering a compassionate and dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing the annual education model and curriculum for board approval for all disciplines by the end of the calendar year.
  • Oversee the onboarding of all new staff through the entire orientation process until all agency requirements are met.
  • Provide suggestions to leadership for changes in the orientation process based on feedback from staff surveys.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of all department monthly in-services and in-service records, and prepare monthly reports for review.
  • Develop courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) for ongoing education and provide staff with access to health education resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years experience in a home health, hospice, or related specialty area.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to develop educational materials and aids to promote and present health education initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a corporate training environment is preferred.
