About the position

The Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the onboarding process for new dealer and manufacturer credit line requests. This position is primarily focused on contacting prospects to gather the necessary information and guiding them through the entire onboarding cycle, which spans from application to activation. The Specialist must have a comprehensive understanding of the applicant's organizational structure, file UCCs, and administer system-generated loan documentation. A key aspect of this role is to ensure a satisfactory experience for applicants and customers while maintaining the accuracy of data in TCFIF's system of record. In addition to the technical aspects of the onboarding process, the Onboarding Specialist is expected to foster a positive relationship with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they feel supported throughout the onboarding journey. This involves effective communication, problem-solving, and a keen attention to detail to ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. The Specialist will also be responsible for following up with applicants to address any questions or concerns they may have, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Administer the onboarding process for new dealer and manufacturer credit line requests.
  • Contact prospects to obtain required information for onboarding.
  • Lead applicants through the entire onboarding cycle from application to activation.
  • Understand the applicant's organizational structure and file UCCs as necessary.
  • Administer system-generated loan documentation accurately.
  • Ensure a satisfactory applicant/customer experience throughout the onboarding process.
  • Maintain accuracy of data in TCFIF's system of record.
  • Follow up with applicants to address questions or concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing position.
  • 3+ years of experience in banking or finance.
  • 1-3 years of sales, finance, loan documentation, or customer support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Working knowledge of credit basics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with UCCs is preferred.
