The HR Onboarding Specialist will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to: The HR onboarding specialist is the primary point of contact for and provides critical support to candidates, managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders. The HR onboarding specialist is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of all onboarding requirements for new hires. Welcomes newly hired employees and executes the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees. Acts as a subject matter expert and makes recommendations on how to improve process efficiency. Ensures compliance with all processes and maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times. Challenges status quo and proactively identifies process improvements. Identifies innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experience. Manage the Onboarding mailbox and administer requests as necessary. Support the onboarding process for Nordic employees, including basic understanding of Nordic's benefits and payroll practices to ensure a positive employee experience. Audit and review employee file documentation for compliance and proper storage. Maintain compliance with client requirements, as well as federal and state regulations. Provide administrative support to departmental leadership team. Work on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary.
