About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Tetra Tech plays a crucial role in facilitating the integration of new hires into the organization. This remote position involves managing the entire onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees through effective communication and meticulous attention to detail. The role is temporary and project-based, contributing to Tetra Tech's commitment to operational excellence and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Extending offers to new hires
• Assisting new hires with their paperwork
• Updating onboarding status
• Following up with new hires who have not accepted offers or are missing tasks
• Sending welcome emails to new hires
• Confirming training sessions via email or verbally
• Learning project-specific computer systems as needed
• Multi-tasking between computer applications while on the phone
• Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Interacting effectively with individuals from various cultures and backgrounds
• Working a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) if required
• Working long hours (approximately 10 to 12 hours a day) as needed

Requirements
