About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Lifetime Assistance, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees. This position is responsible for managing the workflow of onboarding tasks, meeting hiring deadlines, and ensuring all necessary paperwork and background checks are completed in a timely manner. The specialist will work closely with new hires and the Talent Acquisition Manager to facilitate a seamless transition into the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Update the ATS and hiring pipeline for every step completed during the onboarding process.
  • Send an instructional email clearly stating all required tasks to each new hire and establish an onboarding account within 24 hours of assignment.
  • Ensure all hiring paperwork is completed by the new hire 24 hours prior to their scheduled TEAMS meeting.
  • Schedule and complete a TEAMS meeting with all new hires within 96 hours of assignment.
  • Complete background checks for MHL, CBC, and SCR within 24 hours of the TEAMS meeting and additional checks as needed.
  • Provide paperwork for tuberculosis screening to all new hires.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Manager if background checks are not cleared.
  • Notify Talent Acquisition Manager and recruiters if the new hire did not meet all required hiring steps upon discovery.
  • Meet goals and expectations for onboarding on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Advise Talent Acquisition Manager of any obstacles while performing job responsibilities.
  • Track TB screenings for all new hires on the orientation roster and communicate with providers if documentation proof of screening is needed.
  • Attend new employee orientation to get all new hires entered in the timeclock and verify identification for all i9s.
  • Update CBC database with fingerprint results after confirmation of attendance at New Employee Orientation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with computerized systems is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
