About the position

The HR Onboarding Specialist will support the HR Team in facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new hires and acquisitions. This role focuses on providing essential information and assistance to ensure a positive experience for new associates, leveraging HR knowledge and technical skills to navigate the onboarding systems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Team with onboarding new hires and acquisitions.
  • Communicate HR knowledge and provide technical assistance during the onboarding process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hire information in Dayforce.
  • Provide new-hire employees with technical assistance for onboarding documents.
  • Prepare and distribute onboarding welcome materials.
  • Assist HR team members with E-Verify processing for I-9 requirements.
  • Answer general HR questions regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize technology to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency in Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally with all levels of employees and leaders.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues affecting onboarding systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).
