About the position

The Implementation Onboarding Specialist at ADP is responsible for managing the entire implementation process for clients, serving as the key point of contact from the point of sale through the transition to ongoing Client Services. This role requires project management skills to coordinate with various internal departments, clients, and financial advisors to ensure a successful implementation. The specialist will also provide guidance on regulatory compliance and assist clients with necessary documentation and communication throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Project manages work of several internal departments, client, financial advisors and client's prior recordkeeper to ensure a successful implementation.
  • Perform welcome call and explain the implementation process to the client, ensuring understanding of necessary actions for success.
  • Assist client with prior recordkeeper notification and obtaining a liquidation date.
  • Provide the client with a blackout notice and explain legal responsibilities for timely notice to plan participants.
  • Manage the transfer of plan assets and participant records by communicating with current providers and internal departments.
  • Establish Payroll Input call to review payroll deductions and compliance coding with the client.
  • Work with client and internal parties on missing information needed for conversion to ADP Retirement Services.
  • Responsible for preparation and distribution of all applicable client conversion communication.
  • Document based on department standards and coordinate seamless transition to Client Services.
  • Monitor and communicate conversion status regularly with client, sales, and financial advisors.
  • Evaluate, assess, and recommend solutions to questions/issues surfaced from clients and internal departments regarding implementation.
  • Deliver ADP Mid Market Prototype Adoption Agreement and review elections with the client.
  • Work on exception-related processes requested by clients, including adding investments with restrictions and special blackout notifications.
  • Review conversion data and records prior to plan go-live and communicate with clients for data approvals.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of directly related experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong influence, prioritization, adaptability, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to apply recordkeeping and regulatory concepts and methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is encouraged.
  • Military experience is valued.
