About the position

The Talent Specialist at Elara Caring plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining a high-quality team of healthcare professionals. This position focuses on onboarding new staff, developing educational materials, and ensuring compliance with agency requirements, all while contributing to the mission of providing exceptional home care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing the annual education model and curriculum for board approval for all disciplines by the end of the calendar year.
• Onboards all new staff through the entire orientation process until all agency requirements are met.
• Provides suggestions to leadership for changes in the orientation process based on feedback from staff surveys.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of all department monthly in-services and prepares monthly reports for review.
• Develops and assists in developing courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) for ongoing education and provides staff with access to health education resources.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in a home health, hospice, or related specialty area.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to develop educational materials and aids to promote and present health education initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a corporate training environment is preferred.
