About the position

The Onboarding Specialist at Koch Specialty Plant Services is responsible for coordinating and optimizing training plans and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with customer site requirements. This role involves managing the onboarding process for personnel, including safety orientations and background checks, while maintaining accurate training records and effective communication with the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical analysis and data-driven decision-making to deploy optimized training plans and strategies.
• Coordinate customer site entry requirements, including safety council orientations and drug screenings.
• Ensure compliance with customer site requirements by completing necessary site access forms.
• Efficiently plan, organize, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurately enter training records into the KSPS Personnel database.
• Create and review professional written communication for the transient workforce.

Requirements

• Experience in scheduling training and coordination within the industrial industry.
• Experience working with ARSC Safety Councils and registering employees for safety training.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems and MS Office products, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with DISA platform and ordering of Drug Testing & Background Checks.
