About the position

As an Onboarding Specialist at Vivint, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and integrating new Sales Representative hires into our organization. You will collaborate closely with our recruiting department to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee, delivering an exceptional onboarding experience that aligns with Vivint's values and culture. This position is essential in creating a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed and prepared to start their journey with us. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, which includes pre-boarding activities, orientation, and integration into their respective teams. You will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining onboarding materials and procedures to ensure they are current and effective. As the primary point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey, you will address any questions or concerns they may have, ensuring a positive experience from the very beginning. Additionally, you will oversee the completion and accuracy of required documentation, including employment forms, background checks, and compliance-related paperwork. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our onboarding program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including pre-boarding activities, orientation, and integration into their teams.
  • Develop, update, and maintain onboarding materials and procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Oversee the completion and accuracy of required documentation, including employment forms, background checks, and compliance-related paperwork.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an onboarding or an HR role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with onboarding software is a plus.
