The Onboarding Supervisor will oversee the Onboarding team and is responsible for coordinating and administering the company's onboarding program including welcoming new employees, coordinating their training, and acting as a liaison between new hires and internal teams. The Onboarding Supervisor plays a crucial role in setting up new employees for success by ensuring a smooth transition into the organization and timely completion of required training. This role requires a proactive approach to managing the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires feel supported and engaged from the moment they join the company. The Onboarding Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring onboarding metrics and identifying areas for improvement to enhance the overall onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and provide daily oversight of the onboarding team and process.
  • Develop and implement an effective onboarding program that aligns with the company's values and goals.
  • Ensure the onboarding process is streamlined and provides a positive experience for new employees.
  • Update the knowledge base of existing onboarding processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with new employees throughout the onboarding, training, and placement phases and ensure new hires feel supported.
  • Prepare comprehensive reporting on onboarding metrics, drop off and retention throughout the onboarding process, orientation attendance, etc.
  • Monitor new hire progress, identify potential delays, and coordinate solutions to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist new hires in scheduling relevant exams and follow up to obtain results.
  • Maintain compliance by ensuring completion of all necessary employment paperwork, certifications, and information before the new hire's start date including I9 verifications, background checks, and BACB credentialing.
  • Serve as a liaison between new employees and internal teams, collaborating on training, certification, employment paperwork, and credentialing.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate a cohesive onboarding process.
  • Solicit feedback from new hires regarding their onboarding experience to identify areas for improvement.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the onboarding process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years experience as an Onboarding Coordinator, HR coordinator, or similar position required
  • 1-2 years of management experience required

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Behavioral health, healthcare, or ABA experience highly preferred
