About the position

The Onboarding Supervisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive onboarding program across the company. This role focuses on enhancing the onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped and welcomed into the organization. The Onboarding Supervisor will also oversee an HR Coordinator, providing guidance and support in onboarding practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a company-wide onboarding program.
  • Manage an HR Coordinator and provide day-to-day guidance and development.
  • Assess the current state of onboarding practices in each business unit.
  • Identify best practices for onboarding to replicate across the organization.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement in onboarding processes.
  • Streamline onboarding practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Equip managers with necessary information for successful onboarding.
  • Welcome new hires and provide them with essential information.
  • Maintain contact with new hires during their initial months to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with recruiting and HR Business Partners to facilitate employee transitions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR or onboarding roles.
  • Strong understanding of onboarding best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess and improve onboarding processes.
  • Experience in managing or supervising staff.
