About the position

The Onboarding Systems Integrator at Convergence Networks is responsible for the technical evaluation, configuration, and documentation of newly signed customer environments. This role ensures that all relevant documentation during customer onboarding is collected to enhance the support experience for clients. The position involves regular communication with clients and internal teams regarding project statuses and changes, as well as deploying product and management tools in customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of all onboarding tasks assigned.
• Evaluation, configuration, and documentation of newly signed customer environments.
• Regular internal and external communications on project statuses and planned changes/outages for clients.
• Attending meetings with clients to discuss technical onboarding topics.
• Deploying product and management tools to newly signed customer environments.
• Other relevant job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in IT Tier 2 with a focus on network support, implementation, and remote and onsite support.
• Maintaining and supporting Windows servers including Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 and Office 365 administration.
• Experience with Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 operating systems and limited Mac desktop operating systems.
• VPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Experience with Azure AD, Azure Backup Tools, and Microsoft 365 stack.
• Network, remote and onsite support; troubleshooting DNS Management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ConnectWise, Kaseya, or other similar MSP tools and software.
• Understanding of mail flow troubleshooting, TCP/IP, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies within Datto, Veeam, and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of firewalls, networking/routing (switches, routers, etc.), and wireless configurations.
