About the position

The Oncology Account Manager plays a vital role in establishing Kyowa Kirin North America (KKNA) as a leader in Oncology and Rare Diseases. This position focuses on supporting healthcare providers in improving patient health outcomes and building strong relationships within hospital systems. The manager will drive effective account planning and management, identify key stakeholders, and ensure the successful integration of Poteligeo into patient care. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams and a deep understanding of the oncology market.

Responsibilities

  • Drive effective hospital system and account planning, management, and selling process.
  • Identify key influencers within assigned hospital systems/accounts and build relationships to drive sales.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of oncology and dermatology centers in assigned regions.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of the healthcare industry, trends, and market access environment within Oncology and Dermatology.
  • Support market access needs when necessary.
  • Review and analyze product performance within accounts and evolve actions as appropriate.
  • Educate referral networks on disease best practices and identify appropriate patients.
  • Map patient flow and influence between institutions and community practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop actionable business plans that drive sales volume.
  • Conduct formal and informal presentations conveying complex scientific information in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with at least 3 years in account management.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in institutional, oncology, or rare disease sales.
  • Proven track record of sales success.
  • High degree of understanding of the Buy & Bill & Market Access marketplace.
  • Strong track record of therapeutic area/product knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Veeva.
