The Oncology Beautician at Glens Falls Hospital plays a vital role in providing beautician services specifically tailored for oncology patients at the C.R. Wood Cancer Center. This position focuses on enhancing the well-being of patients through hair care, wig and cap fittings, skin care, and makeup tips, all while ensuring a supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs beautician services including haircuts, wig and cap fittings, skin care, and makeup tips.
• Creates an excellent client/guest experience through a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Orders and tracks wigs and supplies from various vendors.
• Communicates with clinical staff regarding any issues patients experience.
• Cleans the boutique space in between clients per infection control guidelines.
• Schedules and reschedules boutique appointments as needed.

Requirements

• Cosmetology License is required.
• Completion of cosmetology school is necessary.
• Preferred experience of 1 year in oncology wig fitting and hair care.
