About the position

The Oncology Nurse at CHI Health Lakeside is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration.
