Responsibilities

• Provide intravenous therapy to patients requiring peripheral, central, epidural, and phlebotomy care.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IV therapy complications and patient responses.
• Act as a resource for staff regarding complex IV therapy needs.
• Educate patients on their medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and program development.

Requirements

• Current NYS RN license
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• 2 years nursing experience
• IV experience preferred
