About the position
MSSU is seeking applications for a one semester Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning January 2025. Qualified faculty will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in face-to-face and online formats. Employment is contingent upon a background check. Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in face-to-face and online formats.
- Student advisement.
- Candidate assessment in clinical field experiences.
- Collaboration with public school partners.
- Active participation in the department, school, and university.
Requirements
- A terminal degree in a related educational field.
- Successful teaching experience in pre-K to 12 schools.
- Relevant classroom and teaching experience.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a faculty team member.
- Willingness to invest in the use of current best practices and 21st-century technology.
