About the position

The One to One Observer at Virtua Health is responsible for providing constant personal observation of patients to ensure their safety and well-being. This role involves supporting the healthcare team and maintaining high professional ethics while interacting positively with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient, ensuring a safe environment and positive interaction.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to the RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in the orientation of the healthcare team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.
