About the position
The Online Adjunct Faculty position in Sport Management at Spartanburg Methodist College involves designing and teaching online courses in various sport management topics. Responsibilities
- Design and teach online courses in Sport Management.
- Develop course materials for new courses being offered for the first time.
- Utilize Course Management Systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, or D2L for course delivery.
- Commit to high-quality instruction and active learning pedagogies.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Requirements
- Hold a Ph.D. in Sport Management or a related field with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Have significant experience designing online sport management courses.
- Have significant experience teaching online sport management courses.
- Experience with Course Management Systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, or D2L.
- Demonstrable successful experience as an online teacher at the college level.
