About the position

The Online Ads Designer at PostcardMania is responsible for creating and producing high-quality graphic designs for online advertisements and videos. This role requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles and the ability to translate customer requests into effective visual communications. The designer will ensure that all designs meet technical specifications and are aesthetically pleasing, contributing to the company's mission of empowering small to medium-sized businesses through effective marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce aesthetic and effective designs for online ads and videos that meet customer specifications.
• Quality check existing designs to ensure they are error-free and visually appealing.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, to create designs.
• Set up proofs according to job specifications and save jobs accordingly.
• Collaborate with copywriters to design based on customer requests and provided copy.
• Maintain a steady pace of production while ensuring high-quality output.

Requirements

• Proven graphic design experience with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in online ad and video design.
• Excellent grasp of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design terms and printing specifications.
• Ability to adapt designs based on customer feedback and requests.
• Self-motivated with good organization and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• An Associate's Degree in Graphic Design is desirable but not required.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
