About the position

The Online Distribution Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating hotel content across various distribution channels, including GDS, CRS, OTAs, and ESA's website. This role involves managing rate configurations, assisting with corporate RFP processes, and ensuring accurate data flow from the CRS to the distribution network. The specialist will collaborate with sales and revenue management teams to optimize rate loading and enhance the efficiency of the RFP process.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update ESA's hotel content across distribution channels.
  • Manage rate configurations within ESA's CRS, including rate plans and inventory.
  • Assist in the corporate RFP season activities, including rate loading and coordination.
  • Develop and run reports to provide RFP and client data to internal customers.
  • Provide training and direction to sales teams regarding rate loading and RFP processes.
  • Participate in RFP Bidders Conference Calls to assist the Sales Team.
  • Analyze and recommend software enhancements for the RFP and reporting process.

Requirements

  • Experience with Central Reservation Systems, Content Management Systems, and Property Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates and interpret data.
  • Excellent software and reporting skills, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Business School or Associate's degree is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of related experience in the hospitality industry.
