About the position

The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk is responsible for efficiently selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders while ensuring freshness and quality. This role involves assembling orders, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the online shopping experience. The position emphasizes adherence to company values and food safety procedures, contributing to a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival for pick-up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
