About the position

As an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, you will be responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner, ensuring attention to freshness and quality. Your role will involve assembling customers' orders, processing coupons and payments, and delivering and loading orders into customers' cars upon their arrival at the store for pick-up. You will provide a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return to online shopping, while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars when they arrive for pick-up.
• Provide a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen for orders.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
